Biography

Currently serving as Assistant Professor (Research) at School of Mechanical Engineering., SASTRA Deemed to be University, Tamil Nadu, India. Completed Ph. D. in Assistive Robotics from SASTRA in 2017. Received M.Tech. degree in Embedded Systems from Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science, Chennai, India in 2012. Prior to that, received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics science from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India in 2006 and 2008 respectively. He co-invented World's first manual-mechanized self-transfer device & India's first robotic self-transfer device for wheelchair users. Areas of interest: Assistive & Rehabilitative robotics/systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Medical Devices
