Biography

Professor Maitumeleng Nthontho is an Associate Professor, Academic, Scholar and a C2 NRF Researcher in the Department of Education Management and Policy Studies (EMPS), Faculty of Education, University of Pretoria. Prof. Nthontho is the South African Project Leader in the collaborative research project between two South African (University of Pretoria and University of Venda) and two Swedish (University of Gothenburg and Malmo University) universities (SASUF). Her research interests include Human Rights in Education, School Management and Governance, Policy Implementation, Mediation in Education, Mentorship and E-Mentoring in Higher Education and Religious Diversity in schools. Her fields of expertise include Education Management and Leadership, Educational Policy, Education Law and School Governance, Religion in Education. She has published articles in peer-reviewed and accredited international and local journals and has delivered papers in national and international conferences.
