Biography

Sofia Gonçalves completed her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto in 2024. She is currently employed as a Researcher at CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials. Throughout her carrer she has published 6 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work in 3 international conferences. Her main research interests are in fuctional materials such as textiles, as well as lignin-based adhesives for wood and mineral wool.
