Biography
Said El Kafhali is an associate professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, Hassan First University of Settat, Morocco. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Sciences from Faculty of Sciences, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco, in 2005, the M.S. degree in Mathematical and Computer Engineering from Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, Hassan First University of Settat, Morocco, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2013. He joined Faculty of Sciences and Technologies in January 2018. Prior to joining Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, Dr. Said El Kafhali worked for four years at National School of Applied Sciences of Khouribga, Morocco and is teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of cloud computing, computer and network security, computer networks, object-oriented design, object-oriented programming, and performance modeling and analysis. His current research interests Queuing theory, Performance modeling and analysis, Cloud computing, Internet of things, Fog/Edge computing and Networks security, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Said El Kafhali is closely associated with several international journals as a reviewer. He has served and continues to serve an international programme committee member in many international and peer-reviewed conferences. He serves as an academic editor for Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience (from June 30, 2022 to present), the Applied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing (from December 06, 2021 to present), Mathematical Problems in Engineering (from March 22, 2022 to present). He serves also as Editorial Review Board for International Journal of Fog Computing (IJFC) (from February 02, 2018 to present), the International Journal of Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies (from May 22, 2018 to present). Dr. Said El Kafhali has published widely in the area of computer systems modeling and performance, queueing theory, cloud computing, Internet of things and Fog/Edge computing, artificial intelligence and data sciences.
