Biography

Muhamad Safiih Lola, PhD (email: safiihmd@umt.edu.my) is currently an associate professor at the mathematics department, Faculty of Ocean Technology Engineering and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. His research interest covers a wide range of topics related to hybrid statistical modelling for marine science, aquaculture, environment, eco-tourism, sustainability, and econometric modelling that promote wellbeing of society. He also involved research with ethnos and biodiversity of Kenyir natural resources, eco-aquaculture of Setiu Wetland, Terengganu, Malaysia and Springer Nature Book projects, consultation in an extensive area of software developments projects with a specification to data analytic, statistical modelling and forecasting. Currently, he involved in multidisciplinary research on data science, computational statistics, and hybrid statistical modelling embedded with machine learning and its related to IR4.0.
