Biography
Ömer Zeybek is a Data Scientist in Migros Ticaret AŞ R&D Cen-tre. His main research interests are related to marketing analytics and econometric forecasting. He holds a PhD degree from Istanbul Technical University and he is studided on measuring promotion–sales elasticities using time series econometrics methods

Until 2017, he worked at customer intelligence department of a mid-sized retail bank for four years and mainly focused on the demographic and social analysis of customer clusters and estimating a bunch of propensity to buy models. Previously he was a team leader in Turkish Statistical Institute (official statistics agency in Turkey), where I was responsible for field work organisation and data plausibility checks of inflation and short termed production panels for five years.
