Biography

My research interests are centered on better understanding the adaptive value of the circadian clock in organisms under natural conditions. I have investigated this question in the desert tobacco Nicotiana attenuata, and now will continue to investigate the functional role of the circadian clock in the lichen symbiosis (e.g. in mycobionts as well as their photobiont partners).
