Biography

A dedicated and driven faculty member and researcher, my passion lies in exploring various aspects of Nutrition and Dietetics, including Metabolic Syndrome, Cancer Biology, Genomics, Neurophysiology, and Stress Physiology. My academic journey includes obtaining a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 2021. Prior to this, I completed a Masters of Applied Nutrition from AIIPH, Kolkata, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition (Honors) from the University of Calcutta. Completed M.Sc. in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University, UK.

Throughout my career, a commitment to excellence has been evident in my teaching and research endeavors. Expertise in experimental design involving human subjects, fieldwork, statistical data analysis, and a diverse range of laboratory techniques characterizes my core skills.

I have had the privilege of participating in cutting-edge research, including involvement in space nutrition studies conducted by NASA's "In-Flight Food System" project. Additionally, my role as a consultant and data scientist in the field of Nutrition Artificial Intelligence has provided valuable insights and opportunities for innovation.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and innovation, the focus remains on performing at the highest standard and contributing meaningfully to the advancement of science and nutrition.
