Biography

Nanne Kort is an orthopedic surgeon and medical director of CortoClinics. CortoClinics is the first orthopedic clinic in Europe dedicated exclusively to hip and knee osteoarthritis; specialized expertise. In addition, at CortoClinics, clients are our top priority. We consider them to be individuals, not merely a patient file with a protocol to be followed. We look at their needs and desires and provide advice and explanations about your unique situation options. They determine the course of action. Nanne was born in Curaçao; he attended medical school at the University of Utrecht and did his orthopedic residency at Groningen. In 2007, he defended his PhD on unicompartmental knee arthroplasty. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. Nanne is active within ISAKOS, ESSKA and European knee associates, which he chaired from 2018-2020. Dr Nanne Kort is an authority on the conservative and operative treatment of hip and knee osteoarthritis. He also gives lectures throughout Europe on digitization in orthopedic healthcare and optimizing care plans. In 2018, he realized his dream of establishing his orthopedic center: CortoClinics.
