Anna Angelogianni received her B.Sc. in Digital Systems and M.Sc. in Digital Systems Security from the University of Piraeus, Greece, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. In 2015, she was an exchange student at Stockholm University's Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV focusing on cyber and digital forensics. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Piraeus's Department of Digital Systems and a doctoral fellow at the European Security and Defense College (ESDC). Her research focuses on vulnerability and risk assessment in next-generation networks, as well as passwordless authentication and identity verification mechanisms. Her most recent works includes the design of secure and privacy-preserving authentication protocols, particularly for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications.
Since 2019, Anna has been involved in various EU H2020 and Greek state-funded projects, contributing as a research associate at both the Systems Security Laboratory at the University of Piraeus and Ubitech. Currently, her research centers on designing secure and privacy-preserving protocols for trust assessment in Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) systems and Beyond 5G (B5G) networks. Her work explores leveraging verifiable evidence from multiple trusted sources to enhance security and trust in these emerging technologies.
