Biography
Collaborating Researcher at the Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Brazil. She received postdoctoral training from Oncobiology Program, at the Institute of Medical Biochemistry Leopoldo de Meis, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ - Cancer Foundation, 2017-2018). She earned her MSc (CAPES, 2011-2013) and PhD (CNPq, 2013-2017) in Morphological Sciences by the Morphological Sciences Program from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PCM / UFRJ - CAPES 7) and has a Full Degree in Biological Sciences (UNIPAC / JF, 2009). She has experience as professor at graduate (Biomedicine, Pharmacy and Nursing courses) and U post graduate programs. Her areas of interest and expertise include: tumor microenvironment in cancer progression, cellular/molecular mechanisms of cancer and prostate cancer genesis and progression. She try to understand from the point of view of molecular, cellular and ultrastructural biology, the interactions established between prostate tumor cells and the cerebral microenvironment.
