Biography
PhD in General and Applied Biology Program at the Botucatu Biosciences Institute, focused on Biomaterials. I am associated with the Laboratory of Bioassays and Cell Dynamics (LaBio), and I also did an internship abroad at the Université Laval in Quebec, Canada.
I hold a Master's degree from the same program and have served as a student member of both the Council of the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences and the Council of the Graduate Program in General and Applied Biology.
My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics from the Botucatu Biosciences Institute, with a specialization in Nuclear Medicine from the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Cancer Care at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (HCFMRP-USP). I also participated as a student member of the Structuring Teaching Assistance Nucleus (NDAE) of this program.
I would like to highlight my participation as a scholarship holder in extension projects, including "Stable Isotopes and Ionizing Radiation in Society" at the Stable Isotopes Center of the Botucatu Biosciences Institute, and the "Guardian Angels" Extension Project at the Toxicological Assistance Center. I was also a member of the Organizing Committee of the VIII and X Congress of Physics Applied to Medicine. In addition, I was a Prope Scientific Initiation Fellow in the area of Bioinformatics at the BSL (Biocomplexy Studies Laboratory) of the Physics and Biophysics Department of the Botucatu Biosciences Institute.
My expertise covers synthesis and characterization of biomaterials, including ceramics, metals and polymers, as well as biological testing. My research aims to understand the interaction of cells with different materials, contributing to significant advances in the field.
