Biography

Fabiano Fragoso Costa (M’07) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of
Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 1997; the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB), Campina Grande, Brazil,
in 2001; and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Campina Grande, in 2005. He is currently an
Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Bahia, Salvador, Brazil. His current research interests include the application of control techniques and stability assessment for grid-connected converters, PLL algorithms, and islanding protection.
