Mohamed S.Abdel-Bakky is an associate professor, faculty of pharmacy, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. Over the past eight years Abdel-Bakky has focused his research in two broad areas: 1) Novel biomarker discovery in the immunological renal diseases and diabetic nephropathy at basic pharmacology and toxicology, faculty of medicine, Frankfurt university, Frankfurt AM, Germany and contemporary NCNPR, faculty of pharmacy, MS university, USA; and 2) The role of coagulation system (particularly tissue factor, TF) in the different etiological liver diseases using antisense deoxyoligonucleotides. Abdel-Bakky has been an associate professor at faculty of pharmacy, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, since May, 2014. He received his B.SC. at faculty of pharmacy since July, 1997; and his Master (2004) and he finished his PhD practical part in basic pharmacology and toxicology, faculty of medicine, Frankfurt University, Frankfurt AM, Germany (2009). He was a postdoc. research associate at NCNPR, faculty of pharmacy, MS university, USA (2009-2011), and finally associate professor at faculty of pharmacy, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.
Abdel-Bakky is specialized in cellular and molecular imaging, molecular biology techniques, in vitro and in vivo wok. Currently, Dr. Abdel-Bakky is associate professor in pharmacology department, College of pharmacy, Aljouf University, KSA.
Dr. Abdel-Bakky was awarded the country (Egypt) encouraging award (2011), he has 20% sharing in patent of poison Ivy Technology "UM 3600, USA (2011) and is founding membership in Arab union of health and food. Dr. Abdel-Bakky has 698 total citations with 12h-index.
