Biography

Dr. Gonzalez Villalobos received his Ph.D. in Biomedicine and Molecular Biotechnology from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN, Mexico) in 2019. He then joined the Group of Microbiology at the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) as a postdoctoral fellow. His research interests are focused on the contribution of bacteriophages to bacterial evolution and ecology. Currently, he is assigned to the UNAM public health department, working as a full-time career professor.
