Biography

Born and raised in the outermost province of Indonesia (Aceh), I begin my Fire Safety Science career from 2019, when I decided to chose Prof. Ir. Yulianto Nugroho as my supervisor for both my bachelor and master theses on modelling of coal spontaneous combustion. This interest is keep developing and motivating me to pursue doctoral study to extend my expertise and understanding on Fire Safety Science. On late 2021, after finishing my Bachelor and Master for 5 years in integration (FTUI Fast Track program), Prof Bart Merci and Dr. Georgios Maragkos provide a chance for me to be their doctoral student and currently we are working on the fire simulation in compartment, especially implementing finite-rate chemistry to capture extinction and re-ignition phenomena.
Since my research is only bounded in the area of simulations (modelling), I consider kitchen is my experimental laboratory where I keep experimenting on food during the weekend or whenever I need to relieve some stress (I love cooking).
Currently I am in a romantic relationship with my high school sweetheart but, I will provide further details when we're married. Just a bit of glimpse on who she is, she is an Oasis in The Gobi Dessert for me.
