Biography
Prof. Dr. phil. Erich Hartmann studied speech-language pathology, special education, and educational psychology. After several years of working in the field, he acquired further academic qualifications, specializing in the early identification and prevention of dyslexia as part of his doctorate and habilitation. Since 2011, he has been a Professor of speech-language pathology at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), where he is responsible for the Bachelor's and Master's programs in speech and language therapy. His primary areas of interest and research are evidence-based assessment, prevention, and therapy of developmental disorders of oral and written language.
