Biography

I am an associate professor in the “Host Pathogen Environment Interactions” laboratory (UMR5244). I am the leader of the team “TRansmission, Resistance and Virulence” (http://ihpe.univ-perp.fr/equipe-trev/). Over my carrier, I have focused my research on the evolutionary mechanisms that lead living organisms to adapt to stressful and changing environment. I am particularly interested in the implication of non-genetic mechanisms to generate phenotypic variability and I particularly focus my research on the implication of the microbiota and epigenetic based events to lead to adaptation to environmental changes using the molluscs Crassostrea gigas and Biomphalaria glabrata as model species.
