Full Professor of Science Communication and Director of CHESS - Center for Higher Education and Science Studies at the University of Zurich. Elected member of the German National Academy of Science and Engineering acatech. Working on science communication, climate change communication, public attitudes towards science, artificial intelligence.

Former Assistant Professor at the University of Hamburg, Visiting Fellow/Professor at U Harvard, U Oxford, U Pennsylvania, Monash U etc. Former Postdoc at the Free U of Berlin, Doctoral Student at U Leipzig.
