Biography

I am the Open Science Strategy Program Coordinator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), where I support scientists with tools, resources, and technology to make their science more accessible and to shape the future of scientific communication. Previously, as the Public Relations Manager at the National Science Policy Network, I led the strategy and implementation of storytelling, media relations, marketing, and other communications, supporting training and engagement opportunities for a nonprofit member association of over 2,000 early-career scientists building careers in science policy and civic science.

I earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Duke University, where I studied how seeing helps us hear, as well as a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University, where I studied how mouse vision guides behavior.
