Biography

Dr. Mohammed Qasem is an assistant lecturer at the department of computing science, Augustana Faculty, University of Alberta. He started working at Augustana in July 2019. Before arriving at Augustana, Dr. Qasem taught many computer-science courses in hardware, software, and programming. He also worked at Manitoba Hydro International as a Software Developer. His research centers mostly on three areas including ant-inspired clustering models and their applications to dynamic real-world clustering problems, semi-supervised classification and clustering, and aspect-based sentiment analysis.
