Biography
Dr. Hesham Moustafa is working as Assistant Professor at Polymer Metrology & Technology Department, National Institute of Standards, Cairo, Egypt. Also, he is working as Technical Manager of the lab. He received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from "Universite de Haute Alsace" "UHA-IS2M-CNRS" Mulhouse, France in March 2013. In September 2013, he selected to SIDA international program about "Quality Infrastructure Development in Support of World Trade" in Stockholm, Sweden and presented a project of polymer accreditation with Swedish side in mechanical properties according to ISO 17025 for polymeric materials. In 2014, he started to install the research platform for food packaging and intelligent packaging based renewable resources, as well as bio-adhesion technology in his lab. Further, he has earned a scholarship from Egypt-France program to Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP)-France. He has presented some lecturers in different international conferences like Eurofillers 2011,2015, ECCM 2018 - 18th European Conference on Composite Materials Greece, APME 2015, October 18th-22nd, 2015, Yokohama, Japan,..etc. He has published more than 37 articles in reputed journals with 19 h-Index and 1060 citations on Scopus site this paper in trend of preparation, fabrication and characterization of polymer materials (biocomposites and bionanocomposites) that used for different applications (e. g. packaging application, waste water treatment, flame retardancy , green tire and adhesion and adhesive purposes). Moreover, he serves as a reviewer for several key journals (more than 32 papers). He also supervised M. Sc. & PhD students in Menoufia university, Egypt. He has coupled research experience with industrial work with National and International Counterparts, especially with French institutions and Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University, Thailand. His current work focuses on food packaging, Water treatment, Biosensors for intelligent packaging, Bio-adhesion technology ,biological therapy, and flame retardancy.
