Biography
Born in Trieste (IT) 56 years ago, in 1992 he graduated with honors at the Faculty of Economics of "La Sapienza" University of Rome. At the beginning of his career, he works at the Italian subsidiary of the editorial group "The Economist", being involved in international economic information.
In 1995 he approached the European Union's funding programmes mainly in the domain of research and technological innovation. In this domain he worked for two years at the European Unit within the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research.
Since that time, he is full time engaged in the formulation, submission and subsequent management of European projects.
In 2008 he creates the Fondazione Manlio Resta (Manlio Resta Foundation) in which is currently the President.
In 2016 he started being Lecturer of European project planning at various academic institutions including: “la Sapienza” University of Rome, “Università Telematica Internazionale Uninettuno”, Lumsa University in Rome, L’Aquila University and others.
Since 2021 he was appointed by the European Commission – DG Clima European Climate Pact Ambassador.
In 2022 he started to be Contract Professor at Sapienza University of Rome Department of Communication and Social Research and at Università Telematica Internazionale Uninettuno Faculty of Economics.
