Biography
My research area is in solid state physics applied in radiation transport in dosimetry, with special focus on medical physics in both conventional and hadron radiotherapy. I have expertise in luminescence techniques using solid-state detectors and on development of dosimetric systems. Currently, my work focus on instrument development for real time in vivo dosimetry, using 2D image techniques and optical fibres coupled to detectors. I have experience in Flash radiotherapy physics, spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), color centres, Monte Carlo simulation, neural networks, radiation transport in insulators and semi-conductors.
