Biography

Khalil Al Handawi completed hid PhD in mechanical engineering from McGill University, Canada. He was worked on joint Horizon 2020 projects with European and Canadian partners to solve problems pertaining to the aerospace design. His main research focus is on set-based design, design under uncertainty, optimization, and allocation of design margins. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Université de Montréal, department of computer science and operations research. His current research focuses on how to extract latent variables from big data for clustering and unsupervised learning.
