Biography

Dr. Georgios Kritikos is a researcher and faculty member of the Learning Technology and Educational Engineering laboratory. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics (2001) and a M.Sc. in “Electronic Physics and Radioelectrology (Telecommunications)” (2004) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also holds a M.Ed. in “Modeling Design and Development of Educational Units” (2006) and a Ph.D. in Didactics of Physics using ICT (2013) from University of the Aegean. He completed his postdoctoral research (2020) at the University of the Aegean. He was Science Teacher (2005-2017) and director of the “Centre of Science Laboratory of Southern Dodecanese” (2014-2017) at the secondary education. His research interests lie mainly on the fields of Science Education, Interdisciplinary approach of Maths and Science in Education, Educational Engineering, Systems Theory in Education, STEAM Education, ICT in Education, and Reflection & Metacognition.
