Biography
Alice Thomas , Asst Professor at Civil Engineering Department at Mar Baselios College of Engineering ( Autonomous). Has prior working experience as Research Associate at National Centre for Earth science studies for 2 years where her she has worked in Flood modeling project and also in determining the hydro climatological influences on groundwater. She did her MTech and PhD from IIT Bombay. Inverse modelling to determine parameters involved in groundwater, developing a coupled Simulation Optimization model using Mesh Free ( MFree- RPCM) and various Evolutionary algorithms was her PhD work. She has also experience in simulation of seawater intrusion.
