Biography

Khalid Parwez, Ph.D., is currently pursuing his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Yenepoya Research Center, Yenepoya University, India. In that capacity, he manages, teaching Post-graduate and Doctoral students, strategic thinking, planning, and proposal preparations.
He is born in Saharsa, Bihar, India. He completed his primary, higher education, and graduation in Bihar, Masters from prestigious Manipal University, Manipal in 2008, and Ph.D. from esteemed Yenepoya University in 2015 from the Department of Allied Health and basic Science. He worked for P.A. College of Engineering, Mangalore in the Department of Biotechnology Engineering for 09 Years in total. Later, he joined as Assistant Professor at the Department of CLS (Clinical Laboratory Science) under the faculty of Applied Medical Science, Shaqra University, Saudi Arabia from 2018 until 2020.
He is serving as the scientific advisor for the Center for Bioscience and Nanoscience Research (CBNR), Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. He has more than 20 publications in the scientific journals and conference proceedings of national and international repute. He has authored two books and five chapters in various books published by reputed publishers like Elsevier. He is currently handling funded research projects from National and International agencies. He has been a member of many task forces formed by the Government and Private Agencies and Professional Bodies. Organized and attended several training programs, and also represented and delivered keynote addresses in National and International forums. He has received national and international awards for outstanding work.
