Biography

Injuries of neurons and aging induced neural degeneration often result in death of neurons and loss of neural functions, the main reasons are the malfunction of neuron intrinsic molecular pathways. My interests are investigating neuron intrinsic molecular pathways and find out molecular targets that can promote neuron survival and neural regeneration. We also study the Traditional Chinese Herb components that can work on these targets, to finally fulfill the goal of neuroprotection and neural repair and rehabilitation for a series of aging or injury induced neural degeneration diseases.
