Biography
Paolo Zucca is a veterinarian and psychologist with an expertise in veterinary public health, medical intelligence and biological risks. He received his DVM from Parma University, a B.Sc. in Psychology from Trieste University, a PhD in Animal physiology and ethology from Bologna University. After his ten-year academic career, he holds a position as veterinary officer at the Directorate for health of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Italy. He is the principal of the Biocrime Centre which over the last five years has provided biological and zoonotic risk prevention programs in favour of adolescents and Law Enforcement Agencies of various European countries. Until 2015 he has been a Senior Investigative Veterinary Health Police Officer, he is certified as “Exotic & Wildlife animals medicine expert” and “Auditor” of the health system.
