Biography

I did Masters with major in Finance and coursework of PhD in Business Administration. I completed PhD with honors (Cum Laude) with major in Islamic & capital markets and developed financial models for risk management in Islamic banks. Subsequently I completed PostDoc fellowship four times in Islamic banking finance from Universitas Airlangga Indonesia.

I have worked as Assistant Professor of Management Sciences and member of various academic committees and study boards at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi for one year and now working on the same position at FC College University Lahore Pakistan.

Professionally I have 19 years experience of working in academic and professional environment. Professional experience is of managing Islamic and conventional bank branches with business volume of Pak rupees more than 1 billion. I had always been a performer and was awarded performance promotion twice in my professional career. In academic career I have taught Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, International Finance, Financial Management and Islamic banking and finance for more than 5 years at undergraduate and Masters level. For my teaching excellence I had been awarded Roll of Honor from Punjab Group of colleges. Besides, I have also worked in the SDG centre of Airlangga University for improving its IMPACT ranking.
