Biography

Born in Sedan, Ardennes, France. Studied in France and the USA. Held academic positions in the UK and the USA.
I am a Biomedical Scientist and Medical Writer who particularly enjoys learning about and disseminating cutting edge science. With academic publications in top-tier scientific journals and recent experience in early R&D in the biotech industry, I am well positioned to participate in and disseminate breakthrough science and medical discoveries aimed at tackling infectious, autoimmune, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer.
As a Cell & Molecular Biologist, Geneticist & Immunologist, I have a record of achievements in directing research projects relating to apoptosis, macrophage biology, and innate immunity. I have designed and optimized microscopy- and FACS-based assays, carried out in vivo genetic screens, as well as in vitro genome-wide RNAi and small molecule screens that allowed for the discovery of new genes involved in phagocytosis. I have investigated the functions of diverse molecules such as scavenger receptors, calcium channels, E3 ubiquitin ligases, as well as small GTPases.
As a freelance Medical writer, I particularly enjoy writing pre-clinical manuscripts for any journals, and grant proposals for the NIH.
