Biography

Sarin Suwanpakdee is an assistant professor of veterinary epidemiology at the Department of Clinical Sciences and Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, Thailand. She graduated with her DVM from the same place in 2006 and a Ph.D. in Tropical Medicine from the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, in 2014. She is currently the head of the Monitoring and Surveillance Centre for Zoonotic Diseases in Wildlife and Exotic Animals (MoZWE), FAO Reference Centre for Wildlife and Zoonotic Diseases. Also, she serves as a committee member of the Thailand National Wildlife Health Center (Thailand-NWHC). Her expertise is in veterinary epidemiology focusing on emerging infectious diseases, statistical and spatial analysis, and policy development.
