He is focused on developing nano energy harvesting and sensing, flow-induced vibration, machine learning, as well as structural health monitoring technologies. Until now, He has published more than 20 papers in Nano Energy, Energy Conversion and Management, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Energy, and Structural Health Monitoring. Also, he is a reviewer of Energy, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, Applied Physics Letters, Engineering Structures, Ocean Engineering, IEEE Sensors Journal, Machine Learning: Science and Technology, Sensors and Actuators: A. Physical, Smart Materials and Structures, Journal of Vibration and Control and other international journals.
