Biography

Dr. Guangyan Huang is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Technology, Deakin University. In 2014, she was the recipient of an ARC DECRA fellowship. She also has been awarded two Discovery Projects - DP190100587 (sole CI) and DP140100841. She was awarded a PhD degree in Computer Science from Victoria University in 2012.

She has 110+ publications mainly in Data Mining, Sensor Stream Data, Pattern Recognition, Video Understanding, Emotion Recognition and Short Text Analytics. She is an IEEE Senior member.
