Biography

Sendy Phang is an Assistant Professor of Electromagnetic Engineering at the George Green Institute for Electromagnetics Research, University of Nottingham, UK.. He received the BEng degree in engineering physics with first class honours, from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Bandung, Indonesia in 2010, the MSc degree in electromagnetic design and PhD degree from the University of Nottingham in 2011 and 2016, respectively. From 2015, he joined the School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Nottingham as post-doctoral researcher on an EU H2020 project. His research interests includes electromagnetics theory in particular of light-matter interaction, neuromorphic photonics, metamaterials, photonic crystals, electrodynamical system and its applications.
