Biography

Graduated in Biomedical Sciences at Fluminense Federal University (2004-2008). Master's degree (2008-2010) and PhD (2010-2013) in Cardiovascular Sciences at Fluminense Federal University, and Research Fellowship at University of Colorado (Boulder, USA) (2012-2013). She was postdoctoral fellow of Laboratory of Exercise Sciences, UFF (2013-2014). Currently, she is assistant professor at Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Fluminense Federal University and member of Graduate Program of Biomedical Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) and Graduate Program in Cardiovascular Sciences at Fluminense Federal University. She is Jovem Cientista do Nosso Estado / FAPERJ (2016-2019 | 2019-2022 | 2022-2025), a scholarship holder of Research Productivity 2 / CNPq (2022-2025) and referee from national and international journals. She has experience in Cardiovascular Physiology, Metabolism, Molecular and Cellular Biology, regarding evaluation of endothelial progenitor cells and endothelial extracelular vesicles, inflammatory markers, oxidative stress in subjects at increased cardiometabolic risk.
