Biography

Dr. Lauren Pringels is a resident in physical medicine and rehabilitation and an academic assistant at the department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Ghent University, where he teaches locomotor anatomy and dissections.

With his background as a master in sports and movement sciences and as a sports physician (IOC), he has developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal overload injuries and more specifically, in tendinopathies.

He is currently conducting doctoral research on the role of intratendinous pressure in the pathogenesis of tendinopathies.
