Biography

Dr. Yunzhi Huang received the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Sichuan University in 2020. She was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC), University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA. She is currently Assistant Professor with the School of Automation, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medical image analysis. She is dedicated to designing data-efficient learning methods for biomedical images. She has expertise in deep learning for brain MRI registration and breast ultrasound diagnosis. Meantime, she is working on the new longitudinal multi-modality learning algorithms while minimizing human supervision (unsupervised/semi-supervised learning) to expand the multi-modality analysis to a reliable diagnosis and safe surgical planning. Dr. Huang has coauthored more than 10 scientific articles. She serves as the reviewer of Medical Image Analysis, IEEE TMI, Neuroimage, Pattern Recognition, and Plos One.
