Biography

Bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of São Paulo (USP), master's degree from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and a doctorate from the same institution. Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) between 2016 and 2019, having spent part of this period at Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany. Currently occupies a position of professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Experience in the field of organic chemistry with emphasis on nitrogen heterocyclic compounds and current research interests include the development of new synthetic methodologies in photocatalysis and synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and bioactive molecules.
