Biography

My research is centered on elucidating the pathogenesis of kidney diseases, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and type 1 diabetes, with a particular emphasis on understanding the role of immune dysregulation in these conditions. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as single-cell omics, stem cell biology, organoid models, and electrophysiology, I aim to unravel the complex molecular and cellular mechanisms driving disease progression. This multidisciplinary approach not only deepens our understanding of immune cell behavior in these pathologies but also facilitates the development of innovative therapeutic strategies and targeted drug candidates to improve patient outcomes.
