Biography
Prof. Yasser Kadah is presently a Professor of Biomedical Engineering with the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Biomedical Engineering Department at Cairo University in 1989 and 1992 respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1997. He was a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Cairo University for many years and the former Department Chair. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) since 2003 and a Senior Member of the International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE) since 2015. He is also currently an active member of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
