Biography
Xianfeng Wu is an Assistant Professor in Architecture at the Beijing University of Technology, China. He has rich teaching and practical experience in the UK and China. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and completed his PhD in architecture at the University of Nottingham, UK.
His research concerns the relationship between built environments and behaviours in different spatial contexts, including but not limited to high-density housing, educational settings, and sports venues concerning construction management, sustainability, and digital transformation. He is one of the core members of the research on Key Technology of the Design, Construction, and Maintenance of the Yanqing Competition Zone of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
He has published his research in high-quality peer-reviewed journals including Building and Environment, The Journal of Architecture, International Planning Reviews, and Annals of Operations Research.
He is an Academic Member of the China Architectural Association and the Council on Tall Buildings And Urban Habitat. He is also a reviewer for Frontiers of Architectural Research, Energy & Buildings, Journal of Digital Economy, and Buildings.
