Biography

Vahid Majidnezhad was born in Sarab, Iran, in 1982. He received the B.S. degree in software engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2004, and the M.S. degree in software engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2007, and the PhD degree in Computer Science- System analysis, information processing and control- from the United Institute of Informatics Problems (UIIP) of the National Academy of Science of Belarus (NASB), Minsk, Belarus, in 2014. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Islamic Azad University. Also he is the head of Applied Intelligence Laboratory. He has published several scientific papers. His research interests include evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, pattern recognition and complex networks.
