Biography

Born in Thun in 1972. 1993-1999 studies in history, political sciences and media studies at University of Bern. In the same years, journalist at the daily regional newspaper "Thuner Tagblatt". Since 1999 at the University of Fribourg, first as a teaching and research assistant. 2005 PhD in social sciences with a thesis about the development of the sports sections in Swiss daily newspapers. Currently working as a lecturer, students advisor and responsible for the DCM website. Research topics: Sports and media, journalism studies, broadcast history and policy, content analyses
