Biography

Wencheng Jin is an Assistant Professor in the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University. He joined Texas A&M from Idaho National Laboratory, where he served as a staff scientist. His research, supported by multiple offices within the U.S. Department of Energy, focuses on constitutive modeling of particulate and porous materials, computational multi-physics coupling, multi-scale fracture propagation, and the application of AI in geosystems. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geosystems Engineering, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
