Biography

Prof. Krzysztof Kluza, PhD, hab., has been employed at the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland, since 1998. He was a Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University, New York City, and a scholar of the Foundation for Polish Science. His academic interests focus on the areas of sustainable finance, ESG factors, local governments & regional development, and strategy & change management. He received the award “For merits for the development of the financial market for local government units” established by the Association of Polish Banks. He holds AICPA/CIMA professional qualification (CGMA).
He has over 25 years of professional experience in the manufacturing and financial sectors. Among others, he worked as the Executive Director of the state development bank in Poland and Chief Financial Officer at global chemical company. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer and General Manager in a large hi-tech company (over 1500 employees).
