Diversity: Placed emphasis on education and research training of underrepresented students and females; graduated 14 (3 Hispanic, 1 African American) and currently have 3 female (1 Latino) graduate students, involved minority (Hispanic, African American, Native American) and female undergraduates (through DoEd Title V HSI grant) and minority high school students in my research program.
