Biography

PhD in Environmental, Chemical and Materials Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2022). With a Chemical Engineer (UPM) background and with a Master's degree in Chemical Science and Technology (UNED). I have previously worked as a researcher in the Department of Industrial Chemical Engineering and Environment of the UPM (within the projects PEJD-2018PRE/AMB-8334 and SUSTEC S2018/EMT-4348), in the Lignocellulosic Biomass Valorisation Group of the Institute of Forest Sciences of the INIA-CSIC (within the project SUSTEC S2018/EMT-4348) and in the Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts Unit at CIEMAT (within the BIOVISEB project of the coordinated BIOVINESHOOT project). My research work focuses on the development of new sustainable processes using solvents with low environmental impact in the chemical industry and in the field of biorefining, as well as on the valorisation of agro-industrial waste. As a result of her work, I have published in different journals of international impact and also have experience in the dissemination of results through communications in seminars and/or congresses.
