Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the Division of Neonatology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington with adjunct appointments in the Department of Oral Health Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, and Global Health at UW and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. I have interest and experience in global health, neonatology, maternal oral health and its relationship to offspring outcomes, and early newborn transitional nutrition. My passion is improving healthcare to individuals in resource-limited settings.
